One of the most difficult components of creating a compelling and satisfying game for your players is world building. Taken too lightly and the contradictions and non-sequiturs add up very quickly. Taken too seriously and it can make it difficult for players to wrap their heads around all of the nuance built into the setting. It can be frustrating, to say the least!
